5 MORNING HABITS TO KICKSTART YOUR DAYS

Welcome! Habits are indeed difficult to adopt to. It is surprising how simple things in life can change our mental health and make us feel a lot more better. So here are few habits that are easier to adopt and can make your day more productive and meaningful.

1. Waking up at a fixed time. 
I won't give you a time like 'wake up at 5' because i know we all are different, with different lifestyles and different responsibilities. It is often better to try to wake up at a fixed time always. Even if you want to wake up at 9, try to wake up everyday at 9. But set a time that is practical and workable for you.


2. Figuring out your day
One can feel the difference it can make only after doing it. Just sit down for 2 minutes think about your day, what things do you have to do today, what things you could do etc. You don't necessarily have to actually go and write it down on paper, just type it on phone or maybe just keep it in mind. What this devotion of 2 minutes does is, it clearifies your thoughts about the day, creates a mind map and makes your mind prepared for whatever is coming today.


3.Doing little physical activity
I know this is such a clichè thing to say. I used to think the same, but only after trying it out I found myself much more energized and did tasks at a much faster speed. You don't have to rush to gym or anything, stay at home, jog on spot for 5 minutes or maybe challenge yourself to do 50 squats there are so many youtube tutorials of short workouts. If nothing interests you can do light streching for 2 minutes. It improves blood circulation and does lots of good things to your body. 

4. Organising here and there.
Has its own benefits. Look for things that are out of place and place such 5 things in place. This doesn't directly affect anything but what it does is gives you a feeling of staying organised in case you aren't already. It hardly takes 1 to 2 minutes but in the long run is a good habit. If you have few more minutes to devote, go on and dust your room too. 

5. Feed yourself. 
Try to make your own breakfast, or maybe you can help your mom or dad make your breakfast. Plate it for yourself like a treat to eyes. We often tend to neglect beautifying meals for ourselves. But it is necessary to treat yourself really well so that you can start your day with a peace of mind. Take it as a bribe to yourself for starting a busy day. Trust me it does make a difference.
